
With the arms done I started the feet and legs. The feet are wood soles that are screwed to tennis shoes.

The roundness of the knees was done by applying bondo to the cardboard.

The thighs were very troublesome, extremely tightly fitting and hard to get off and on.

With the limbs done I built the hip pieces next.

Here’s the first test run of wearing most of the suit (oh and just so you know this was about a week before the suit needed to be finished so there was no time for cleaning up).

The hands were the last piece to be made. They’re just cardboard built on to those cheap black winter gloves.

Here’s the suit being clear coated inside and out. It made it shiny AND waterproof which was very important because I did a good bit of damage by sweating in my last costume.
